Product Description

Korda Underwater

This fantastic set of DVDs follows Danny Fairbrass and the Korda team as they go sub-surface and bring you along to witness the wonderful world of carp fishing, with a spectacular view thanks to the direct view of the camera. There’s a lot to learn as you watch monstrous carp react against rigs that you may use yourself and see the way they feed on particular baits and areas of the lake bed. It contains heaps of unique footage of coarse fishing and even the most experienced angler can learn something from this remarkable series.

Part 2, with a running time of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, will show you how the fish in Horseshoe Lake behave on a day to day basis and how Danny and the Korda team try their best to get some bites. It mainly focuses on the mechanics of modern day fishing tackle and with the use of exceptional underwater cameras if provides you with a clear and definitive image of exactly how your tackle operates underwater, and how to use it more effectively.

Continuing from Part 1 of the DVD series, Part 2 also looks at fish activity, for example it follows a marker float from 80 yards out right up to the margins and through gravel and sand, giving you a clear picture of the mechanics and look of modern day tackle, so you can decide which one is best for you to use. With the excellence use of split-screen technology, this footage is coupled with what Danny is up to on the bank, so you can be informed of both ends of the spectrum.

Rigs have always been an interesting subject for anglers, and these DVDs cover them in detail. They are filmed from every angle right from the rig to the rod, and Danny and Team Korda look closely at and compare four popular braided, mono and fluorocarbon lines from how they settle on the bottom, camouflage options, rigs for weed and gravel, and even how weed lies on the lake bed so you don’t have to go through the trouble. Not only that, but you can see baits that are picked up from the bottom in a whole range of ways; using running and fixed rigs and stretchy mono lines and non-stretch braids, it covers huge variety of tackle.

These DVDs are packed with information. There are even bonus features including Danny demonstrating how to make pop-up bollies at the water’s edge, there is so much to learn for every angler.

Part 3 of this series also has an approximate running time of 3 hours and 30 minutes, providing you with hours of tips and crucial information. The astonishing underwater footage featured in Part 1 and 2 continues in Part 3, but with a change of venue at RMC Blue Pool in the south of England. In this DVD, the Korda Team reveal how carp feed on free baits and show excellent pictures of bait connected to rigs with their excellent underwater cameras. It provides a unique insight into the behaviour of carp with rigs and bait from a fish’s eye view. You will be surprised at how many carp get away with many of today’s most up to date rigs.

Again, it follows Korda’s founder Danny Fairbrass as he attempts to achieve consistent action from exceedingly cute clear water carp. You can watch his successes and his struggles, as getting the first bite isn’t always as easy as it seems. Danny’s problem solving skills are put to the test and will inform you on how to trick carp.

Danny himself has said: "Shooting and editing this film has made an immeasurable difference to my fishing and I challenge any carp angler alive to not learn from this footage.”
