The alarm LED will illuminate to indicate the alarm is on.to activate the receiver, simply turn both the tone and volume knobs clockwise and set the required levels. Each alarm will find the receiver instantly and allow the angler to check the alarm is working via the matching colour LED on the front screen of the receiver. Once the levels are set place the receiver on your bivvy table or bait bucket so it can be easily seen and heard when necessary. How to pair up the alarm to the receiver, To add this extra alarm to your receiver look inside the battery chamber and you will find a small dip switch. In order to pair up the alarms simply set all switches to the same number combination and they will instantly work with each other. If you fish next to a friend or another angler who has the same alarms then one angler will have to change the number selection on both the alarm heads and inside the receiver not to interfere with the other angler.
