Fitting an extension to your existing 16m Middy Shockcore XP Pole is more affordable than buying a longer pole, especially if you won't always need the extra reach. Also, with Middy poles tending to be a bit more on the heavier side, packing a powerful hauling punch, and the strength to make the most of any match scenario, a pole that's simply built longer may be harder to handle than a shorter pole with an extension fitted.
