Founded in 2010, Monkey Climber first established its presence into the angling community through the carp and specimen angling magazine that offering a merging of old school magazine styles to the contemporary demands of modern print. Monkey Climber take its content, photography and products to the next level proclaiming ‘We don't fake it, we just take it’ as the company’s motto. Ranging from, t-shirts to nutrabaits, Monkey Climber provides carp anglers with style and essentials for when cruising at the bank. This Belgium brand offers a voice of the underground carping scene not just in the magazine but through its incredible range of clothing that can now be spotted all over Europe.

After the MC crew discovered an obvious demand from anglers for its Monkey Climber designed hoodies that featured on its social media and in the magazines, the company decided to make its clothing available to all anglers, one of which being this Limited-Edition Ape Hoodie design.

Made from a high-quality 320gm heavyweight combed cotton fabric, this jumper is incredibly soft thanks to the treated cotton fibres that are also higher tougher than regular cotton, making it incredibly durable to survive the rigours of carp fishing. The cotton fabric also means this hoodie is insulating for the cooler seasons at the lake.

The design of the hoodie itself is simplistic yet creative with the black fabric and white printing. Drawn and printing in Belgium, Monkey Climber has created a unique ape design more modern anglers to stride around the bank in or for everyday use.

The design on the front of the jumper is located on the chest and is a smaller version of the ape artwork that is enlarged on the back of the hoodie. The artwork is much more than an ape with attitude as this clothing comes with the clear message that 'We all come from apes'. The idea behind this message is a call for ‘unity in Darwin's (carp)world gone mad’ as the MC crew states.
