The new Nash Air Force F20 Rod range is the pinnacle of modern rod blank technology. These Nash Air Force rods have been developed for one single purpose to allow elite casters and competition anglers to achieve greater distances with greater accuracy than ever before. Where every yard gained impacts success rate or defines match performance Air Force rods deliver baited rigs or spods to new limits in every carp fishing situation.
Designed as a true all round casting tool, offering improved casting distances without compromising fish playing action. So remarkable are the F20 series or rods in their performance that when samples were first sent out to hand selected extreme casters through Europe and the UK it was widely assumed these were the flagship Nash Air Force F40 carp rods thanks to their incredible characteristics.
These carp rods are constructed from high modulus 30 Tonne Japanese carbon blanks with a low resin construction. Nash have implemented a 45 degree multi directional reinforcement on the rod which prevents torque twist and enhances accuracy. These fishing rods have a unique CAD designed fast taper which allows for staged power release on the cast increasing the distance you are able to cast.
Nash have designed all these Airforce rods with 580mm handle lengths as they discovered in their testing that this was the optimum leverage required to generate greater force and tip speed in the rod on the cast. To enhance the casting capability of these carp rods, all models are fitted with a 50mm double foot butt guide, American Tackle Vortex Air Guides, with 30 to 16mm single foot intermediates on the rod which finish with the 16mm anti frap tip rings.
As you would expect from a Nash Rod, every aspect of the rod has been included for a reason, but in a way that makes the rod look the part on the bank. The matt black whippings throughout and the abbreviated Japanese shrink wrap handle ooze class, as well as the American Tackle Satin Finish Aluminium reel seat which will hold even the largest of big pit fishing reels. The carp rod utilises a low profile carbon butt stop and a carbon line clip which is perfect for ensuring you get the correct angle with your line from the rod to your fishing bite alarms.
