The Okuma Tomcat Reel is the latest addition to the Okuma Reel family and offers anglers an incredibly versatile fishing reel that suitable for wide range of fish species and lure fishing styles. Ideal for lure fishing with a variety of lures in freshwater and light saltwater work.

Okuma have centred the design of this reel around corrosion resistant graphite body and rotor, that also offers a great deal of stiffness and strength whilst reducing twist and being incredibly light so it perfectly matches with even the lightest spinning rods. Fitted with 6 ball bearing + 1 roller bearing, which ensures that the reel will always run smoothly and reliably, even when used intensively! For additional power when playing large fish such as pike, Okuma have utilised a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear and a quick set anti reverse bearing. These spinning reels feature Okuma’s RESII (Computer Balanced Rotor System), which enables stable and balanced spinning even at breakneck speeds allowing for optimum line lay.

This fishing reel uses a multi-disc, oiled felt drag washers that offers efficient stopping power and smoothness. This eliminates the drag jerking when playing fish and ensures a smooth delivery of power from the reel leading to less line breakages when playing specimen fish. This fishing reel has also been made to last thanks to its machined aluminium spool, 2 tones anodized spool with metal round clip and its corrosion resistant heavy duty solid aluminium bail wire. This spinning reel also features a TPE Ergo Grip handle knob, that makes this reel comfortable to use on even long fishing sessions with repeated casting.
