Penn Regiment II Boat Rod,
The PENN Regiment II Boat rods are a new generation of super light but powerful rods. Engineered to be fished with both mono and braided fishing line and will punish any fish. The new SLS3 blank construction provides a very thin diameter blank which overall makes for a smaller and lighter rod that is more ergonomic.
Designed with specific 12lb, 20lb and 30lb line class actions to give the offshore angler targeting big fish maximum performance. With a long tip and short butt, these lightweight, low diameter, fast action blanks are fitted with special Fuji intermediate rings. These are designed to flex with the blank to preserve the perfect compression curve and maintain maximum fighting performance. A specially shaped fore grip fits the hand for increased comfort when fighting big fish for long periods. This grip is long enough to allow both hands to be placed in line to maximise rod pressure against big stubborn fish that need to be bullied away from wrecks and reef structure.
