Shakespeare Predator Rods
Since 1897, Shakespeare has been the leader in quality yet affordable fishing tackle for anglers in the UK. Shakespeare’s inspiration comes from 115 years of passion and experience and its objective is simple, they want to make fishing easy and enjoyable for everyone.
The Shakespeare fishing rods all in term offer different specifications of weight, action, power and length that help cater to the anglers needs. For example, The Sigma rod range caters across the disciplines with rods for pike, feeder, match, coarse, bass, fly and more.
Shakespeare’s rod production started in 1976 where Shakespeare revolutions the angling community with the ‘Ugly Stik rod’. The Shakespeare Ugly Stik was the first rod to feature a clear tip and a Howald Process construction which made it virtually indestructible and for this reason, it is still a firm favourite amongst predator anglers today.
Since its expansion into fishing rod production, Shakespeare has designed and creates many predator rod series to suit a variety of tactics to perch, trout, pike, zander and more.
