Prologic Camo Floating Retainer-Weigh Sling

Launched in 2004 in the UK, Prologic became a brand focused on providing tackle dedicated to carp anglers. This is two great pieces of gear combined into one, Prologic introduces the Camo floating retainer and weigh sling. Allowing you to use in the waters to hold a catch whilst you prepare the bank, alternatively, the product can be used to weigh the next PB.

This floating retainer is ideal for resting the fish for a short period whilst you ready the camera and scales. Placing the sling within the water near your peg enables the fish to be more comfortable that drying out on an unhooking mat or cradle. The mesh material means water can exchange, flowing both in and out, allowing gentle currents to comfort the carp. The ultra-soft camo mesh is also great to protect the carp from the discomfort of the usual firm sling materials but also lets dirt, debris and excess water drain away for an effective weighing.

To assist in an accurate weighing, Prologic has incorporated four carries or grab handles as well as two, central weighing handles. The dimensions of the slight are 122cm x 55cm, offering plenty of room for those larger carps whilst still offering a secure hold.

To secure the fish when either retained or weights, its sling features a two-way HD zipper that is fitted with locking rings. This is perfect for ensuring the fish will not hurt itself when out of the water.

The weight of the sling itself is 1.08kg, this is roughly 2.38 pounds (lbs) to minus from your catch’s weight.
