Red Gill Raver Lures,
The Red Gill Raver is the classic wreck fishing size of Red Gill. Over the years Ravers have probably caught more wreck pollack than any other artificial bait and they are still a very reliable lure today. As well as Pollack, they will also catch bass, cod, coalfish and a range of other species. Fish them on a flying collar rig and try altering the speed of retrieve and colour of Raver used until you find the combination which the fish want on the day. The Red Gill Sandeel artificial eels sparked off a fishing revolution when first introduced in the 1970's. They were an instant hit with both boat and shore anglers and they continue to catch fish now as well as they ever did.
