Rovex John Wilson Barbel Quiver Travel Rod

The big brother to the Rovex Avon rod, the Barbel Quiver is stronger than its counterpart with a test curve of 1.75lb and is supplied with beefier quivers, 2oz (red), 2.5oz (yellow) and 3oz (green). The Barbel Quiver rod is at home handling bigger specimens such as larger carp and barbel, hence the name. Like the Avon rod, the Barbel Quiver comes with a 2ft dolly butt, extending the rod to 13ft allowing you to fish at greater distance or in stronger currents.

Thanks to the versatility of the rod, it’s a great allrounder and ideal for a number of angling environments, an afternoon on the river, a day ticket on a commercial venue or it could be a great holiday rod.

The Rovex Barbel rod sports a high-grade cork handle giving it that classic look, splitting the handle is a DPS style reel seat which is sure to anchor down your reel and minimise any lateral movement. The blank features minimal branding but does feature John Wilson’s signature at the base of the blank, the blank itself has a carbon finish complimented with black whippings.
