All the rods in this impressive collection feature the same high-specification carbon blank. Slim and sleek, this blank produces a medium to fast action that Shakespeare believes is perfect for most forms of fly fishing. This blank not only allows you to achieve outstanding casts, but it also gives you the potential to play fish as smoothly as you like. During the initial product design, the team behind the Agility fly were given free reign of all the latest technology that Shakespeare had to offer and, as such, this rod boats many cutting edge components – including this amazing blank. The rods in this range all feature Zirconium Oxide Striper guides and stainless steel single leg guides, making it the perfect rod for most fly applications. These guides won’t crack under pressure! The 9ft 6”, 10ft, and 11ft rods all feature a removable fighting butt, making them incredibly versatile tools. These also all boast a full Wells handle. The 8ft 6” and 9ft rods both feature a half Wells handle, due to their shorter length. Finished in a satin matt black on the blank, with an engraved aluminium reel seat, this rod is a classy bit of kit. Not only does it perform the part but it looks the part too! All the Agility series come supplied in a Cordura tube as standard, so they are offered incredible protect both in storage and in transit.
