The Beastmaster Surf Rod is an excellent all-round tool that responds well to all the popular casting styles used in the UK and when you turn the power up it easily copes with the extra workload.
It has a great recovery rate that lends itself perfectly to long distance work and the action flows seamlessly from tip to butt with each section loading and unloading when required.
Its robust characteristics also make it ideal for heavy ground fishing when you need to cast in and around rocks and kelp. The multiplier version is supplied with Shimano's sliding reel seat as standard and a reducer is again available as an optional extra.
