The FX is an all-rounder when it comes to spinning, the reel which replaces the previous FX, AX and HYPERLOOP reels. It’s an ideal choice for the novice angler or a cost-conscious intermediate that still wants to fish with a reliable reel.

Shimano have used an XT-7 body material and a diecasted aluminium spool on this spinning reel that makes it both incredibly strong and lightweight, so it will perfectly balance with your chosen spinning rod. The line lay on this spinning reel is uniform thanks to the inclusion of Shimano’s Varispeed Line Lay. Available in a range of sizes, to cover several fishing styles, so you can choose the exact reel you need for your fishing requirements.
