Finished with ultra-sound sanding, this rod is very easy to ship and comfortably slides through the hands. The Shimano Technium has reinforced joints for increased strength, but these joints do not present a battle when it comes time to land a fish or take apart your pole at the end of a session. The pole is supplied with two power kits as well as one cupping kit. Built on the Gen Z concept, you are able to use any of the Gen Z top sections on the Technium pole, so if there comes a point when you’re looking to upgrade or re-configure your setup you’re able to do so with ease.
Suited for elastics up to 20, the pole weighs 1105g. This means the pole is incredibly versatile and can be used to attack large carp as well as being both light and stiff enough for general fishing.
