The Shimano TX-2 Floater Rod offers not only strong blanks but delivers fast action and soft tip of the Shimano Tribal Floater rod makes this the perfect rod for controller fishing. The rod length is 12 ft but can be taken apart into sections to make the transport length of just 187 cm. This is ideal for the travelling angler that likes to switch up pegs during a session.
With a test curve of 2lbs, the Shimano TX2 rods boasts a stainless steel guide frame with six SiC guides that can help withstand the pressure fighting a carp can bring once its hooked. The power in the butt of this floater rod also simplifies mending line and setting the hook at range.
The TX 2 series has also been developed with a plastic line clip to help with keeping your line in place. In addition, the rod has a Fuji DPS reel seat as well as pink tipping above the black bottom layer which every angler will immediately notice.
