These Barbel Fishing Rods have been built around a strong and lightweight high modulus carbon rod blank, with plenty of power in the butt section of the rod to allow the angler to tame even the most powerful of barbel, whereas the tip section is sensitive enough to prevent hook pulls and allow great bite indication. For increased strength and durability these barbel fishing rods feature low profile SIC lined rings. These guides also allow your fishing line to flow freely making it easier to cast whether it be thick mono fishing line or braided line, great when needing to cast towards the far bank of large powerful rivers. Sonik have incorporated a screw winch reel seat on these barbel fishing rods so that you can use a wide range of fishing reels from small fixed spool reels to large free spool reels. Supplied with built in isotope inserts for when you are fishing into darkness and a cloth rod bag which makes transport and storage of these fishing rods quick and easy. Available in a 12ft length and either a 1.75lb or 2lb test curve, the Sonik Specialist Barbel Fishing Rods are a great addition to any anglers specialist fishing tackle.
