Trakker Summit XP Fishing Jacket,
Trakker is as famous for its innovative clothing as it is for its luggage and overnight bankside items and this Summit XP Jacket is one half of a pair of items that make up the Trakker XP range. This is the overcoat in the XP Jacket range and it can either be worn independently or in combination with the Trakker Base XP Jacket – providing you with a comprehensive all-weather and all-seasons jacket which is suitable for all your carp fishing needs.
The Trakker Summit XP Jacket has been designed to the same high standards as the rest of the items in the Trakker angling clothing range. As such, it boasts a 10,000mm hydrostatic head rating as well as a breathability rating of 5,000mm. This ensures that this jacket is completely waterproof and it can keep you bone dry in even the most torrential of downpours. The breathability factor also ensures that you never have to worry about feeling sticky or damp under your clothing, too, even after an energetic baiting session or a hard-fought landing. The jacket will keep you comfortable throughout your carp fishing session, whether you’re looking to keep yourself dry in the dampest weather or you simply want to keep the wind off your back.
The Trakker Summit XP Jacket boasts a full adjustable storm hood with a stiffened peak. This has been designed to allow the rain to run off the sides of your hood rather than dripping annoyingly in front of your face, ensuring that you can keep your eyes focussed on the water and your rod tips rather than becoming distracted by the inclement conditions. The front of the jacket has been designed to extend up your neck, forming a chin guard. This prevents cold air and water from entering the jacket at your neck, protecting this delicate area of your body from the worst of the elements. The hood of the jacket has also been fitted with a draw cord for this same purpose, ensuring that you can close the jacket tight around your face in especially wet or windy conditions for unparalleled wet weather protection. The rear of the jacket has been extended, too. This ensures that you can bend and move on the bank without incurring drafts up your back, so you can crouch by your unhooking mat or raise your arm to cast without exposing your lower back. The lower hem of the jacket is also elasticated, to allow you to adjust the fit of the jacket to suit your needs, and the cuffs of the jacket are Velcro adjustable to form a seal against water running back down your arm on the cast or during the retrieve.
The jacket has been fitted with a heavy duty main zip. This has been designed to allow you to easily open and close your jacket and this zip protected by a double storm baffle. This features press studs at the ends, preventing the incursion of water or cool air through the zip and ensuring that you’re kept completely dry throughout your time on the bank. The internal zip on the jacket has been designed to allow you to attach the Base XP Jacket into the Summit XP. This creates a double layered jacket which is perfect for the colder winter months. As an additional bonus feature, the Trakker Summit XP has been fitted with waterproofed and zipped pockets. These are ideal for the storage of all your vital electronic objects, such as your mobile phone or your bite alarm receiver, as it ensures that you can move freely on the bank without worrying that your vital items aren’t going to fall out of your pockets and into the water.
