The Westin W3 Dropshot Rod is made from a sensitive toray, high performance carbon. This construction enables superior rod action and casting for predator fishing. The Dropshot rod has a fighting power which makes up the backbone of the W3 Dropshot rod series. Measuring at 8ft in length, the rod has a medium action with a casting weight of 5-28g.
The rod features a two-parted SKS reel seat that is extremely light and offers direct contact to the carbon reinforced blank. This connection results in a better feel and bite detection is maximised. Additionally, details like the unique hook keep also makes a big difference. When using a typical dropshot rig simply slide in the line and tighten up to fixate the dropshot sinker. This will keep the rig from tangling when moving in between fishing spots.
Sporting n EVA flat rear handle, the rod is designed to rest on the underarm during fishing offering not only a comfortable hold but it also helps in stabilising the rod. This is particular effective during a battle for a stubborn fish on the end of your line.
