This is just the case with Century’s CQ Two Section Landing Net. When you’re carp fishing and you have masterfully negotiated the fish towards the bank, the last thing you want to worry about is your net letting you down at the crucial moment. This is why Century has worked hard to ensure that its nets are able to deliver your catch onto dry land, time after time.
The Century CQ Two Section Landing Net features the same high quality spreader block and landing net arms as the rest of the brand’s top end landing nets. However, where the CQ Two Section Landing Net differs from its peers is its handle. Manufactured from high grade carbon fibre, the handle comes in two separate sections. Originally 6ft in length, the shaft can be halved either prior to use or whilst the net is in use. This enables you to fish with confidence in even the tightest of swims or when you’re landing a fish from a boat. What’s more, as with all Century landing nets, the Century CQ Two Section Landing Net comes supplied with an additional 2ft handle extension. This can be attached to the 6ft handle by simply removing the rubber stopper on the end and sliding the extension neatly into place. This is useful when you’re angling with a 13ft rod as it allows you to keep the tip up whilst still effectively landing your catch.
The mesh of the Century CQ Two Section Landing Net is high quality and super soft. This is because Century understands the importance on fish care and it is only by protecting the fish that you land that you’ll end up with monster catches. The net has a 42 inch spread, which is more than enough to comfortably accommodate the nations biggest fish.
