Tell Me About It
Danny Moeskops had a huge influence in the design of the Kompressor SS. He wanted a rod that would load up with 175 gram plus baited trace, reel brimming with line, 12 turns of 80lb shock leader and send a baited rig effortlessly into big seas and really rough ground. The upper tip retains the same compression curve of the Kompressor S however the lower barrel of the tip and butt is more powerful, allowing energy to be stored and released through a series of enhanced gearboxes.
With a smooth, fluid action, and Japanese shrink rubber grip handle, this rod is designed to take you effortlessly out over rough ground and snags, with the power to handle big seas complimenting, rather than compromising, the exceptional sensitivity of this 3K-3K carbon twill rod, which is crafted for performance, and finished to perfection, with marine grade stainless steel trim, and Titanium K guides tied in striking aquamarine and jet black, giving an eyecatching appearance that looks good on any bank, and will keep the attention on you from the first cast to the final reel in.
With a responsive DPS reel seat, there's no coasters required for this rod; the reel lock simply screws in, making it easy to adjust for the best performance for your style of fishing. If you weren't already sold on it, the Kompressor SS comes with a Century partition rod case, keeping it protected throughout your angling life.
