This reel has been fitted with Daiwa’s Bite ‘n’ Run clutch system. This allows you to enjoy all the benefits of a classic free spool system whilst simultaneously giving you the kind of control you require to enable you to play carp with complete confidence. The front drag on this reel is easily adjustable, allowing micro-incremental changes thanks to its fine-tuning facility, and the reel boats an impressive 4.6:1 gearing. This enables you to drag in a whopping 104cm of line with each turn of the handle – perfect for dragging in a huge carp from far out in your chosen venue.
