Daiwa Seahunter Z Surf Rod
The UK’s sea fishing scene famously demands a lot from its tackle – the ability to be able to cope with the UK’s famously unpredictable elements being just the tip of the iceberg. Although the UK is a very small land mass on the global scale, we have an awful lot of coastline to play with and, perhaps unsurprisingly, we have a lot of variety on our shores. This is why there are six impressive rods in the Seahunter Z Surf range from Daiwa. No matter the conditions on your favourite stretch of Great British coastline there is a Daiwa Seahunter Z Surf out there for you.
All of the rods in the range are built to Daiwa’s famous high standards, however. This ensures that they can all offer the kind of durability you’ll have come to expect from a Daiwa rod and they are able to withstand even the most testing of the UK’s elements with ease. All of the rods in the range are built from high density carbon, which offers an excellent balance between power and response in the blank. Hard chromed aluminium oxide guides are exceptionally corrosion resistant and they can more than cope with the rough abrasions of saltwater fishing. To further increase the rods durability, some models of the Daiwa Seahunter Z Surf are built with metal joint collars, too.
There are a wide variety of sizes available in the range, which is one factor that ensures there’s always a Seahunter Z Surf rod for you. Starting at 12ft in length and increasing to 15ft, no matter how you like your setup balanced or how far you like to cast there is an option for you. The larger 14ft and 15ft rods are ideal for use with fixed spool reels. The 12ft and 13ft models both have the option of 4 piece construction. This makes them ideal travelling rod options for the angler who doesn’t like the compromises involved with telescopic rods.
