Supplied with a fitted alloy spool, as well as two composite spools, this reel is an incredibly versatile outfit that allows you to take multiple line options down to your local commercial or venue in order to ensure you always have ample choice on the bank. Each spool is fitted with a deep grove towards the back of the reel and opposite the line clip you will find a deep indentation. This has been especially designed to hold your line knot, ensuring you get a perfect line lay without any bumps and snags. To ensure this line lay is impeccable time after time, Drennan recommend that you lay the long tag form the end of this knot across the spool, wrapping the line around it as you spool up. Each spool comes supplied with rubber inserts, which slot into the front of your spool, for easy line identification.

The Series 7 Carp Feeder operates on eight ball bearings. These ensure that this is an incredibly smooth operating reel that will give you frictionless performance throughout its lifespan. The reel is also fitted with a one-way clutch bearing, aiding with the reel’s instant (and silent) anti-reverse feature.
