The Fox Micron MXR+ Alarm offers similar features to its sibling in the range, the Fox Micron M but just with a few more exciting add-ons to improve your bite indication system one step further. Unlike the Micron M, the MXR plus alarm can be used with a receiver which is perfect for anglers fishing from a distance from their shelterset up.
The Micron MXR+ Alarm comes with built-in I-Com transmitter technology that sports a 5mm, multi-coloured high visibility LED, allowing you to choose between blue, red, orange and green LEDs. You can easily switch between these colours by pushing the rubber touch button on the rear of alarm.
Powered by just two AAA batteries, the Micron alarm comes with a dual-stage sensitivity, making turning the alarm on-off simple and setups silent. You do not have to worry about frequent battery replacement at Fox promise a low power drain from this alarm.
Other features include a cone speaker for enhanced sound quality which can be manipulated using the indexed tone adjustment knob and indexed volume adjustment knob. Tuning your alarm to your own preferences is always wise when using multiple rodsand bite alarms so you can easily identify which one requires your attention.
The Fox alarms also sport a power out socket (for use with illuminated swingers), rubber ear inlays to keep those rods in place and a hard case to protect the alarm from knock and bumps as well as the elements.
