The perfect rod for all your coarse fishing needs, this rod forms part of the extremely popular Prodigy range from Greys. As such it offers a high modulus carbon fibre construction, which gives the rod a smooth progressive action. This enables the rod to perform superbly whether you’re fishing at short or long range, regardless of your fishing method.
As the name suggests, this rod is suitable with two different tips options. The first of these is the standard 1.25lb tip, which is perfect for your generic coarse fishing. The second option is a quiver tip, which is ideal if you want to use this rod for feeder fishing. The Greys Prodigy TXL Twin Tip Specialist Rod comes with three quiver tips. The smallest of these is a 1.5oz tip, followed by a 2.5oz tip. Both of these tips are glass construction. The largest tip is constructed from carbon and is rated to 3.5oz. This huge variety of tip choices allows you to be completely versatile and you’ll be able to adapt to whatever conditions the water throws at you with this rod.
The Greys Prodigy TXL Twin Tip features SiC line guides. These are completely braid safe, allowing you to make the call as to whether you fish with a braided mainline or a more traditional line type. The reel seat on the rod offers a secure screw lock, keeping your reel in perfect alignment throughout your cast and retrieve in order to allow you to get the most out of your rod. The rod is finished with a top quality cork handle, which not only looks great but it also ensures you get a perfect grip. The rod comes in three sections for ease of transportation and storage.
