Korda Cap Black
When it comes to summer angling attire you can’t go far wrong with a traditional baseball cap. This is why Korda decided it was high time to design its own bespoke version of the classic to add to its angling clothing collection to ensure that you’re always bank-ready, no matter the weather. This Korda Cap Black has been designed to perfectly complement the black hoody in Korda’s range but, thanks to its neutral colour scheme, it will make a great angling accessory to any carp fishing outfit.
The hat is manufactured in the traditional six panel style and it features a subtle Korda logo on the front left panel. The hat has been fitted with ventilation holes, one for each of the six panels, to ensure that your head can breathe whenever your angling gets heated. This is a one-size fits all hat and has a rear buckle adjuster that allows you to get the perfect fit. However, although all of these features are very important there is one feature that is considerably more important than the rest: the peak. The peak is the business end of the hat and the Korda Cap Black benefits from a peak that is both broad and deep. This affords an excellent amount of shade for your face and the peak has also been gently curved to provide additional shelter from the sun when it is lower in the sky.
Keeping your face out of the sun has numerous bankside benefits. The first, and most obvious, of these is that it keeps the sun off your skin and helps prevents burns from damaging UVA and UVB rays. The second benefit of a peaked sun hat is that it keeps the sun from your eyes. This means that you spend less time on the bank squinting, thus negating the risk of annoying bankside headaches. Finally, when paired with polarising sunglasses, this hat can actually help you see deeper and more clearly through the water, allowing you to be able to better spot your quarry.
