Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X Hooks - Micro Barbed

Based on the original Wide Gape, the Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X Hook is a stepped-up version of the classic pattern, with thicker gauge wire, but featuring a much sharper, finer point than the standard X hook.

The Kamakura sharpening process from Korda produces a hook point that is just as high qulaity as a hand-sharpened hook but without the need of having to shapen the point yourself, this means anglers can be confident that these hooks are perfectly sharp every time, straight out of the box.

The Kamakura Wide Gape X boasts a slightly in-turned eye with a short shank which helps the hook go in the fish's mouth and stay in. The heavily forged bend and beaked point mean that the Wide Gape X hook can be used with various presentations.

The incredibly sharp beaked point is protected by wax and Korda suggests changing your hook after every fish you catch, due to the points being so delicate.
