Eight years after the sixth series was released, marking manager Ali Hamidi finally managed to convince Korda founder Danny Fairbrass to get the famous Korda underwater camera down from the attic and back where it belongs – getting killer shots of the most beautiful carp in the country. This DVD certainly does not disappoint in this respect and it features some of the most stunning underwater footage that Korda has ever captured. After much debate about where to fish, the pair settled on Linear Fisheries’ St Johns Lake since it housed a lot of pressured, not to mention very big, carp within its banks. This DVD in the Underwater saga unlocks the day-ticket code and the team spent a lot of time visiting the margin sport they had picked out to ensure it would showcase the finest fish that the lake had to offer. They weren’t wrong there and the first fish to fall to Danny’s rod was the legendry Big Plated – a plus 40lb fish. This was a turn up for the books that no-one was expecting and it is a catch that sets the DVD up for how it means to continue. Committed to showing the real side of day-ticket fishing, despite unfavourable weather conditions the Korda team fished on. The fish just kept falling. This DVD lets you get right into the mindset of Danny Fairbrass and his team and reveals a great deal of tactical insight, as well as some stunning shots of fantastic carp.
