The Maver Definition fishing pole has many of Maver’s own well-known innovations, including a Suncore anti-friction finish that also improves strength and durability, and Teflon joints to prevent joint weld and annoying sticking when putting it together or dismantling it. Hi-tech carbon fibre and Maver’s own developments in epoxy resin form the substance of the sections, which are manufactured in Italy by Redglass.

Two Powerlite power kits are included with the base pole sections, and they feature reinforced banding around a Teflon slot for use with side-pull elastic systems. They also have high-quality fitted Teflon bushes. The main effect of using these power kits is to make the pole feel stiffer and lighter while at the same time making it much stronger.
