The Okuma Custom Black Match Rod is the perfect float fishing rod for coarse anglers that offers incredible value for money. Purposely designed to cover a wide range of coarse fishing styles from fishing with pellet wagglers on commercials for carp and f1s to fishing stick floats and wagglers on rivers for dace, roach and chub.  

These float rods comprise of a thin high modulus slim carbon blank made of 30T & 40T high modulus carbon with a fast and responsive action for efficient casting of fishing floats whilst having sufficient reserves in the spine of the float fishing rod. This float fishing rod has been designed with enough power to land all sizes of fish from small skimmers and roach to large hard fighting carp but still allow you to accurately cast a range of fishing floats. Okuma have used only the finest materials with durable and lightweight titanium oxide guides, which allow your fishing line to flow through with ease when casting. A secure Okuma DPS pipe reel seat has been used which allows the float rod to be used with a range of fishing reels.

Okuma have used a handle on these float rods which combines cork with an EVA rear grip handle, which gives both an excellent casting and fish playing action. A great addition to these match rods is an oversized hook keeper, which allows you to hook your fishing rig, preventing it from tangling when the float fishing rod is not in use. The Okuma Custom Black Match Rods comprises of two different models; a 12ft 8 and a 13ft 8. For easy transport and storage, these float rods are supplied in a rod bag. Finished with Okuma’s unique BOPP blank protect film, the Okuma Custom Black Match Rod is a great addition to any anglers coarse fishing tackle.
