The Magnitude reel range has been developed to cope with the vigorous demands of modern-day coarse angling. The Preston Magnitude Reel 420 is manufactured from exceptionally high-grade materials, with a 3mm aluminium bail arm making them extremely robust and durable, while fishing and in storage. The reel is also constructed from CNC machined aluminium spools and sides.
The body of the reel is extremely compact for ease of storage yet boasts a powerful gearing of 5.0:1 gear ratio. This is the perfect compromise between power and a fast retrieve making the reel perfect for high catch rate venues. The gear ratio along with the oversized spool really packs power that helps cast the distances required for the larger carps in match fishing.
Truly at home on commercials, rivers and natural venues, the 420 sized Preston reel works best with mono or braided lineswith wagglers or feeders. Aside from its power to punch out your bait, this reel offers super slow oscillation which is perfect for achieving the worm drive system and allows for incredible winding power for the size of the body. This smooth retrieval also delivers perfect line lay and no line twist which is helped by the anti-reverse system. It also features a dual-line clip as standard which makes fishing at multiple ranges effortless.
The Preston reel also sports a soft touch rubber grip on its single handle to make grasping your handle in the highly demanding moments of fishing all the more comfortable and assisting your control over the catch.
