The range of rods features a total of five models, all of which cover a range of weights and applications that are perfectly attuned to work with specific famous Hornet and Slider lures.

The medium rod of the range has the ideal rod action precisely intended to work with medium-sized Salmo Hornet lures. The rod is 240cm in length with 10-40g casting weight so unlike the light rod of the range, the medium can handle slightly heavier lures and therefore be used to attract bigger predator gamefish. Salmo has medium-sized ranges of Salmo Hornets and Rattlin’ Hornets that would work well with this type of casting weight and length, alternatively, Salmo has other crank baits that would be applicable.

The medium Hornet Pro features high-quality K guides that mean the super smooth finish of these guides will protect your line from damage or plucks whilst trolling. Along with the Fuji reel seats, this rod is able to offer a comfortable battle with pikes.

The rod is made up of two sections of 30T carbon blanks and has a highly-attractive matt black finish with blue decorations to give this a sophisticated and modern appearance.
