The Shakespeare SALT XT Beachcaster is a unique rod for its price. By using the best quality carbon, the medium-fast tapered blank is very powerful and strong, but also has a very low diameter. The action produces a deeper feel in the blank and allows to switch between techniques depending on the situation. As well, it helps reduce the risk of breaking off a fish and can still manage easy long range performance. The X-wrap shrink handle helps so give extra grip during those far casts and the rubber bulb at the end of the butt section helps to prevent damages and also makes fishing more comfortable.
