Shakespeare SKP Concept Float Rod,
SKP CONCEPT is about giving the angler the choice of being able to use one range of rods for almost any non-predator fishing scenario. Ranging from 10ft Light Tip rods for catching shy biting Dace and Roach, up to 12ft 2.25lb Barbel rods for floodwater fishing for one of the strongest river species and all length and casting weight options in between. Finished in bold Grey, subtle coloured guide whipping and full cork handles these mid-range rods look and feel as though they should be competing in a much higher price bracket!
Shakespeare SKP Concept Float Rod
The Shakespeare SKP Concept Float Rod has been aimed for the angler that looks for a fishing rod that will cover all aspects of coarse fishing. Stalking Carp, fishing the lift method for Tench and Bream or running a float on rivers for shy biting dace & roach, these float rods will cater to your coarse fishing needs.
These Shakespeare rods are made from an high modulus 24T carbon fibre rod blank with carbon weave detailing which gives the fishing rod an incredible progressive fish playing action, with plenty of power in the butt section to land large fish, but enough softness in the tip to prevent hook pulls and absorb runs from large powerful fish such as carp & barbel. The LS guides on these Shakespeare rods allows you your fishing line to fly through the eyes when casting with no resistance, whilst saving weight and keeping the rod incredibly lightweight.
As a sign of top quality, this Shakespeare rod is finished off with a full length cork handle that ensure comfort when casting and playing fish. These Shakespeare rods are finished with a LS reel seat, which allows you to use a wide range of fishing reels and match your preferred reel to this rod. The Shakespeare SKP Concept Float Rod is available in both a 13ft rod and a 14ft rod. Both these float rods have a 3 piece design that makes transport easy in either fishing rod sleeves or ready rod bags
