This Shimano Catana 1300 is a 13m pole package. Perfect for day-ticket commercial fisheries thanks to its 20 elastic rating, this pole has been constructed using the Shimano Gen Z Concept. This means that, should you require additional pole sections or top kits you are able to purchase any of the Gen Z sections. The top 5 sections of this pole are also completely interchangeable with all other poles produced using the Shimano Gen X concept too – affording you outstanding versatility on the bank. This really is the perfect tool for any coarse or match angler looking to get started with their pole fishing career.
Constructed from XT40 high quality carbon fibre, this pole also features Biofibre. This reinforces the carbon fibres, increasing the strength of the pole and its shock resistance, making it an excellent all round performance tool. This is not the only element of the pole which has benefits from the reinforcement of world class Shimano technology and the joint system has also been reinforced. This significantly increases the lifespan of the pole as it works to reduce the risk of premature wear on the joints of the pole, as well as increasing joint strength. This allows the pole to retain all its power for when you need it the most.
The Catana 1300 has been finished with Ultra-Sound Sanding – a unique Shimano system which gives the pole a silken finish. This ensures almost frictionless shipping, no matter the conditions. The pole comes with its own luggage, to ensure full protection both in transit and in storage. This includes a cloth bag, three tubes, and a competition holdall.
