The Shimano Yasei BB Pike Jerkbait Rod is part of a new range of spinning rods from Shimano and has been designed for street fishing but are ideal anytime you need an casting rod for small hard and soft lures. Whether you target perch, canal sized pike and zander or even saltwater fish such as wrasse, this range of streetstick rods will have you covered and are a perfect addition to your Predator Tackle. This Model is specifically designed for baitcasting and is a bit stiffer than other rods in this range.
This Shimano Yasei BB Fishing Rod has been constructed with a rod blank made from a HPC60 high performance carbon, which has created a Spinning Rod that feels like an extension of your arm. The Shimano Yasei BB Fishing Rod has a steely medium-fast action which is ideal for throwing light fishing lures accurately, but with another power so you can set the hook in the bony mouths of predators. A sensitive tip allows you to detect even the smallest bites and plucks and show every movement of the lure, keeping you in total control.
To ensure you can use either Monofilament or Braided Fishing Line and that your fishing line will fly through your rod rings Shimano have used only the highest quality Seaguide premium guides on this spinning rod. A top quality Shimano VSS reel seat has been used on the Westin W2 Streetstick Spinning Rod which allows you to use a wide range and styles of fishing reels so the angler can use their Reel of choice with this Shimano Spinning Rod. A Seaguide Dhook hook keeper is a great addition to this Shimano Spinning rod as it allows you to hook up your fishing lure when on the move and prevents you from snagging the rig. The Shimano Yasei BB Fishing Rod is finished off with a custom made rubber non-slip bottom cap and a split-handle with premium grade cork which allows you to fish in comfort, even on the longest sessions with repeated casting. Available in three different sizes, this Shimano Rod will cover a wide range of weights and techniques making them the perfect rods to select for maximum fun fishing!
