The Sonik S6 carp rods are constructed from high modulus 40 ton (equivalent to IM8 rating) Japanese Toray carbon fibre. This is the highest quality strand of carbon fibre currently available on the market and it ensures that your rod is not only slim and lightweight but also powerful and responsive. In short, this material provides the perfect marriage between casting force and fish playing ability – perfect for carp anglers who don’t want to compromise. The blank is finished in matt all-black, ensuring it will complement any modern carp setup, and it features a subtle gloss black logo for the bespoke appearance. There are two different handle options for the rods in this range. The first option is the classic full cork, which is constructed from triple A grade cork. The second options is a slim Japanese shrink wrap option (this option is only available on rods with a 50mm butt ring; please check individual rod specifications before purchase).
The rod is furnished to the highest standard, ensuring it will see you through all your carp fishing excursions. It features double legged SiC guides and a custom built black DPS 18mm reel seat.
