The Vader X reels are finished in a sleek matte black, accented with a retro look barrel shaped wooden handle, very popular in recent years. Silver detailing of the twin line clips and bail arm screws couple with the Vader X branding on the base of the spool round off an incredibly smart looking reel.

The reel itself features a robust graphite body and rotor, complete with twin spring-loaded line clips, allowing you to measure wraps and cast accordingly. The Vader X reels are also supplied with two fully forged and anodised long cast aluminium spools, fitted with a large diameter bail arm and large bail roller the Vader X 8000 reel will keep tangles to a minimum. The spool is fitted with a micro adjust front drag system for easy adjustment once your new PB carp has beelined for the nearest pad of lilies and you need to coax it towards the bank.

The reel runs on a 5 + 1 ball bearing system and a 4.6:1 gear ratio, retrieving 1.1m of line per turn, facilitating reeling in on larger venues, an impressive retrieve rate for a reel weight just 683g. Finally, the capacity of the spool is 350m of 12lb line to 270m of 15lb line and will vary accordingly.
