Spring Rays… Shane Pullen

This morning I received a lovely email and some cracking pictures from Angling Direct regular and Sea Angler Magazine journalist Shane Pullen.

Shane and his fishing friends, Paul Gunner, Jason White and Ben Milles have been enjoy some fantastic early Ray sport down in Essex.

Fishing large Squid, Herring and Bluey cocktail baits on strong pulley dropper rigs, the awesome foursome have been getting amongst some cracking Thornbacks topping the double figure mark.

Big Jason White has landed the largest so far, with a stunning female fish of 11lb 8oz, which was taken from Sandwhich Bay on a fresh Herring fillet.
