Fundraising for NHS Charities Together - Angling Charity Raffle
If you are feeling like us and are wanting to do what you can to help during this outbreak, we may have a solution. Now more than ever, the NHS requires health and medical support which they desperately need funding for. By donating to charity following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we can show our respect and gratitude as NHS staff, volunteers and carers work tirelessly in the face of the virus.
To assist with the NHS charity fund, Angling Direct will be running a huge Giveaway for some very special items. All of which have been donated by lots of people within the fishing trade and some are certainly treasures that cannot be priced by money but with happiness!
We, here at Angling Direct, have built up and an incredible list of donated prizes for the NHS fund. from some kit bundles of tackle, to bulk baits to even from great experience fishing day packages! Of course, the experience days have 2 years until expiration so you can enjoy the prize once lockdown is over and the social restrictions are lifted!
To win these prizes you simply need to enter our raffle by donating an amount on our Just Giving Page where we also have the details of how to enter. All prizes are sorted into Lots so you do not have to enter for a raffle prize you are not interested in. All prize options are listed on the Angling Direct Just Giving page. You can choose from signed books to fish art, to t-shirts or reels, just make sure to mention which Lot or prize you wish to enter for in the message section of your donation.
We ask that you give a minimum of £10 per 2 Lots. Any donations under £10 per 2 Lots will be taken, but you will not be entered into more than 2 Lots prize options. If you simply cannot choose from the prize list and you want to enter the chance to win more, you can enter 4 Lots but you will need to give a minimum donation of £20, £30 for 6 Lots and so on.
If you can give more it is a great way for all of us to say a big thank you to all the NHS workers who can use the funds to help all those suffering during this pandemic. Not only are you giving the gift of a donation, but you are entering a great chance for a new piece of tackle or even a great fishing experience for a fraction of its usual price.
In addition to the raffle prizes, we are also giving you a chance to win a smaller number of bespoke ‘money can't buy items’, donated by great anglers. These items will be held at auction so all you will need to do is bid the amount you would like to pay and hopefully win the item! Notifications on auctions will be published via our Facebook page so keep an eye out!
All the money raised goes toward the NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This will help our wonderful NHS continue to provide outstanding care to all in need and increasingly those affected by Coronavirus.

Winners for the raffle will be selected at random and announced via a special AD Live by Hassan hosted on Angling Direct’s Facebook page on Thursday 4th June 2020 and posted on follow up social media posts on all our platforms.
