The Dave Harrell No.2 Heavy Base Stick Float features a totally unique design, with this float pattern featuring a dome top and a heavy 2.4mm aluminium stem, which gives these stick floats significantly more weight than any previous design. This makes these stick floats easy to use for distance casting and gives the angler much better control when fishing pacy fast flowing water. Especially good when fishing in a downstream wind as the float ‘sits in’ and the line can easily be mended against them, making for better bait presentation. The go to float pattern when you need more visibility and is ideal for running long distances down fast flowing swims. Ideal for fishing with a variety of baits including maggots, casters and hemp.

The tip of these stick floats are extremely visible, even in low light conditions or when fishing at distance, so you are able to dot these river floats to a pimple and still be able to see them at the end of your swim. The tip on these stick floats is also incredibly buoyant, so it allows you to fish over depth without submerging the float, great for catching bigger fish. Dave Harrell has used a strong aluminium stem on these fishing floats for maximum strength. The body construction of these floats also makes them incredibly strong and durable, so you can have full confidence when fishing near snags or for bigger powerful fish.
