What is it?

The Fox Rage Shallow Super Natural is a lure, which is a type of artificial fishing bait designed to attract the attention of fish using colour, flashes, movement and vibration. They’re usually equipped with one or more hooks to catch fish as they strike the lure.

The Fox Rage Shallow Super Natural is a lure for predator fishing, and lures are arguably the most important part of any predator angler’s kit, as it’s what you rely on to not only catch fish but to attract them in the first place, so you’ll only ever be as good as the lures you use.

Fox Rage describes the Fox Rage Shallow Super Natural as “the most of exciting new lure of 2017”. Why? Because it is designed to take the Replicant lure range into unchartered territory, by which Fox Rage means, just in case the name didn’t give it away, the shallows. The Shallow Super Natural has a balanced, soft body and weighted harness arrangement, which enables it to be worked in the first few feet beneath the surface and ensures it presents super slowly while delivering a swimming action that’s proven to be enticing.

The specially-designed harness system means that, when you hook a fish, the weight will separate from the body of the lure, removing weight from the hook hold so the fish can’t use the mass of the lure to throw it. It also moves the Shallow Super Natural’s soft body away from the fish to prevent it from being damaged by its teeth.

This Fox lure is tuned for working in the shallows and has a body made from a super-resistant material and hooks that are of an excellent quality. It’s 18cm in length, weighs 65g and comes in a choice of five new Super Natural colours - chub, perch, pike, roach and zander.
