Harrison Aviator Plus Raven Build Fishing Rod, This 12 rod has a test curve of 3lb 6 ounces and is our top selling Aviator as it hits that sweet spot of being the perfect all round carp rod. It has been designed to have just a little more power and range than our legendary Torrix 3 1/4 lb rod and works best with 3 to 4 ounce leads. It shares the same tip as the Aviator Flex and has a slightly stiffer butt for extra range, though not over powerful for days on smaller waters and has plenty of action for playing big carp. This Raven edition comes with American Tackle 50mm Vortex ring set, flexible black 1K carbon fibre reel seat, machined black Delrin collars and buttons, abbreviated handle and understated decals. The blank is part of our flagship Aviator range which combines 1k woven carbon to the tip with Harrison thin ply carbon scrim technology below the surface. Harrison Raven built rods are built on Harrison tried and tested blanks made in our Liverpool factory using Toray premium carbon fibre. They are hand built using black American tackle components. The reel seat is an American Tackle genuine 1K carbon fibre seat with black hoods that looks good is comfortable in cold weather and flexes with the blank. The guides are American Tackle Vortex stainless guides with Delta ceramic tips. These are both light weight and flexible, allowing the blank to flex freely. The build is completed with our smaller understated logos and specification decals, CNC machined black Delrin collars and buttons. Rods come with a monochrome Union Jack flag to acknowledge that this is a genuine British built product with a peerless pedigree. Harrison blanks regularly win at casting competitions, but even our distance rods are compound rather than fast taper. This gives an enhanced sense of feel and makes casting easier for average anglers, not just tournament casters. The Harrison team have been making British rods for more than 30 years and this experience is incorporated in these new rods.
