MAP Generation Pro Float Rod,
New for 2025 is a new range of rods from MAP that offer outstanding quality for the money. Featuring the latest in carbon technology we have used 30T carbon to create a much slimmer, lightweight blank which improves the overall performance and action of this rod range. The Generation Pro rod range consists of 6 rods, with a mix of feeder and float rods to cover a wide variety of fishing situations.
Using 30T carbon allows us to offer a prefect blend of balance to the overall rod action and also creates an incredible through action that eliminates fish hook at the net. This action still allows you to cast with accurately over distance with feeders due to the faster taper in the lower section of the blank. The Generation Pro Feeder rods are supplied with three quiver tips, size depending each model, with each tip designed to be used perfectly with each rod, which improves its overall performance and eliminates any flat spots where it meets the carrier section. Each feeder rod is very versatile and will be at home on a wide range of venues, from commercial carp fishing to river fishing.

What an incredible rod. This has been a favourite amongst our consultants, and is ideal for pellet waggler fishing when targeting F1s or carp up to double figures. Its action is incredible, featuring a through anti-lock action which is prefect when dealing with those big fish under the rod tip. The length makes it perfect for short to medium range float fishing, and also makes it an ideal small river rod when targeting species like chub. Two-piece blank.

Longer in then, this is suited for medium to long ranges and is ideal for pellet waggler fishing when targeting F1s or carp up to double figures. Its action is incredible, featuring a through anti-lock action which is prefect when dealing with those big fish under the rod tip. The length makes it perfect for running a stick or waggler down the river. Two-piece blank.

These MAP float rods have been made using the latest in carbon technology. MAP have used 30T carbon to create a much slimmer, lightweight fishing rod blank, which improves the overall performance and action of this rod range. By using 30T carbon on these float fishing rods, the action of these fishing rods offers the perfect blend of balance to the overall rod action and also creates an incredible through action that eliminates lost fish at the net. The action of these MAP Generation Pro Float Rods still allows you to cast accurately at distance with both fishing floats and pellet wagglers due to a fast taper in the lower section of the blank.
MAP have used quality Sea-Guide guides on these float fishing rods which help to keep the rod lightweight in the hand but also allows your fishing line to flow freely through the guides when casting. A DPS down locking reel seat with EVA top grip allows you to use a range of fishing reels with these float fishing rods. The handle is constructed using a quality cork armlock and an EVA rear/bottom grip which offers the optimum grip when casting and playing fish. For easy transport and storage, these rods break down into 2 pieces and are supplied with a rod bag.
