The smallest reel in Nash’s big pit (BP) range, this Nash Dwarf BP-4 has been designed to balance perfectly on any of the Nash Scope and Dwarf carp rods that offer a lighter test curve. This makes the Dwarf BP-4 a highly versatile reel that is comfortable for use across the disciplines, and it can be put to work with great effect in your float and feeder fishing in the coarse and match discipline, as well as commercial carp fishing. It can even be used effectively as a dropshotting reel for light lure work on Britain’s canal network. This makes the Nash Dwarf BP-4 one of the most versatile reels on the market and its myriad uses are just one aspect of what makes this reel so incredibly popular.
Fitted with an aluminium long cast spool and corresponding level wind line lay technology, this reel is a compact big pit that allows you to reach the further features on your favourite commercial lakes. Dual Spot On line clips offer exacting casting at two different distances and, thanks to Nash’s sprung loaded technology, Spot On line clips ensure that you don’t incur any damage. This means you can fish as confidently with a braided mainline as you can a standard monofilament. This multi-line feature is supported by Nash’s oversized roller, which significantly reduces line cutting and twist on the roller – vital for when you’re angling with line at the thinner end of the spectrum.
With a gear ratio of 5.1:1, this reel is as at home with huge carp as it is with tench and bream. A CNC machined handle allows you to access the full power of the reel when you need it the most. Four ball bearings ensure that the Nash Dwarf BP-4 is a smooth performer and complements the fantastic fast drag that the reel has to offer.
