This Preston DF20 Jacket has been designed for use whilst seated at the bank and it is the perfect item of angling clothing for the coarse or match angler who spends the majority of their time on the bank sat on a seatbox. This is why the DF20 Jacket has an extended back, allowing for ease of movement whilst you’re seated. The jacket also offers a high neck area. This allows you to zip right up to your chin in the coldest and dampest days, ensuring that you don’t catch a nasty draught in windy wintery conditions.

This isn’t the only element of the jacket that has been purpose designed to avoid draughts. All of the zips and pockets of the DF20 Jacket have been fitted with storm flaps. These ensure that no water soaks through the zip, as well as preventing any cold draughts from hitting the very centre of your body. Neoprene cuffs on the jacket ensure that you don’t get reverse dribble of rain from the outside of your jacket up into the sleeves of your jacket. One of the most important elements of any waterproof jacket is the hood and we all know that if your head is cold and wet it won’t be long until the rest of your body is too. This is why the hood on the DF20 has been designed with a storm peak. Not only does this provide additional protection from the wind, but it also protects your face from the rain too.

As a final touch Preston has fitted this jacket with additional protective shoulder panels. This means that you’ll never suffer from premature wear and tear from carrying heavy luggage between boot and bank. As with all of the items in the DF20 range, this jacket is rated to a waterproof level of 20,000mm. This is greater than most floatation suits, so you can be confident that this jacket will keep you warm and dry even in the most inclement of weather. What’s more, the jacket is also rated with 3,000mm breathability. This ensures that you won’t ever get damp on the inside of your jacket from excessive sweating.
