The RidgeMonkey EscAPE Bivvy Range has been designed to offer carp and specialist anglers speed, strength and comfort in a fishing shelter. The Escape XF Bivvy range provides cutting edge bivvy technology with its breath-taking erection and pack downtime.
The XF1 Compact is the smallest bivvy in the RideMonkey range and is perfect for anglers who prefer minimalistic shelters that can squeeze into the tightest of spaces. This is great for those conscious of footprint and ends up angling from a tight-knit swim.
With its super-fast erection and pack down, you can use your time at the bank on what matters most, the fishing. The inner aluminium X-Frame design allows for easy construction as there are no poles to thread or connect, and the materials of the bivvy itself ensure the best cover in UK climates. Made from300D ripstop HydroX skin and CPAI-84 flame-resistant material, the XF1 compact bivvy is windproof, waterproof and breathable.
The bivvy fabric is also UV50+ ultraviolet protection to help with fading from the sun and keep you shaded in the summer months. To also keep you cool there are removable front panel with various door configurations with front, side and rear insect mesh vents.
Featuring a removable PVC groundsheet and flysheet, the XF1 can be as basic or as luxurious as you like as you can simply configure to your own preferences. Strength of the bivvy’s structure can be manipulated using the Reinforced pegging points with heavy-duty pegs (included) and the storm poles and guy ropes which can all be neatly stored away in the supplied carry bag.
This is a protected registered design, offering tape sealed seams, heavy-duty YKK zips with full water baffles all round and magnetic rod straps. The dimensions of a setup bivvy is H1450mm x W2100mm x D1450mmm + 600mm peak and weigh roughly 19kg.

Unlike other bivvies on the market, Ridgemonkey's escape xf1 standard 1 man bivvy features UV protection and has multiple door configurations that make it easy to customise your fishing tent. It also includes insect mesh vents on all sides and rear panel which helps with ventilation while staying protected from bugs outside. There are heavy-duty ykk zips throughout this shelter making sure there isn't any water getting past these parts. Magnetic rod straps keep things organised too as it's somewhere safe to place your rod from damage when it's not in use of course.
