Designed in conjunction with Shakespeare’s American team, the Shakespeare Sigma Supra Multiplier reels can perform just as well on the UK’s waters as they can stateside.  Designed to sit perfectly on any of the Shakespeare Sigma sea fishing rods, these multiplier reels offer a one piece graphite frame and side plates. This ensures that the reel is exceptionally rugged and hardwearing – even in harsh saltwater conditions. The foot of the reel is constructed from equally hardwearing stainless steel.

The reel boasts an exceptional carbon fibre hybrid drag which operates on a multi-disc system. Carbon drags offer some of the strongest and smoothest performing drags in the world, ensuring you can bring you catch into shore with ease and confidence. The two ball bearings at work in the reel aid this smooth performance and ensure the reel has a long lifespan. This is a reel that offers phenomenal pulling power and the Shakespeare Sigma Supra Multiplier has been fitted with a brass main gear and a stainless steel pinion gear. These durable metal constructions ensure that you can exert full power without fear that you’ll upset the delicate alignment of the gearing. Not only this, but these are two incredibly corrosion resistant metals – perfect for withstanding the aggressive corrosion of saltwater.

The handle on the Shakespeare Sigma Supra Multiplier has been constructed from aluminium. This is an exceptionally rigid handle, once again ensuring the complete structural integrity of the reel and the 30lb version of the reel has been fitted with a power knob for increased grip against hard fighting fish. The 20lb version of the reel has been fitted with a double handle. This offers exceptional balance. Synchronised level wind on the spool system ensures that you experience flawless cast-ready line lay with each retrieve. As a nice additional feature, the Shakespeare Sigma Supra Multiplier is fitted with an on/off bait clicker switch – ideal for the traditional angler who likes to hear the click as well as the modern angler who prefers to fish in silence.
