The Shimano Olive Compact Rod Sleeve has been designed as part of the impressive Shimano Olive Carp Luggage range. Purpose developed to give carp anglers the kind of quality gear that they have been crying out for, this range of luggage offers ruggedly durable manufacture combined with innovative design. As such, all the luggage in this range, including the Olive Compact Rod Sleeve, has been constructed used power stitch. This ensures that there is no chance of premature rips or tears on the seams of the fabric and where other luggage items are at their weakest point Shimano’s Olive range is at its strongest.

These rod sleeves are available for the storage of up to two 12ft rods or up to four 13ft rods. The smaller 12ft rod sleeve is perfect for the angler who can only get down to the bank for short sessions and who doesn’t have the time to set up three different rods for a long day of carp fishing. The larger, 13ft version is perfect for the angler who likes to be prepared for all eventualities. This sleeve allows you to take three distance casting carp rods, as well as your spod or marker rod, or any other rod that you might require to help give you an edge on the bank. Both sleeves also feature external pouches and strapping which allow you to bring along additional spod or marker rods, should you so desire.

All the Olive Compact Rod Sleeves have been designed with durable zips that run down the spine of the bag. This ensures complete line safety and makes it incredibly easy to insert and remove the rod sleeves. Once inserted, the different rods in your sleeve are separated by padded leaves. This ensures that the rods do not cause themselves damage whilst in storage or transit – as nothing is worse than opening your luggage only to find that your rods or reels have hit against each other and bent a guide out of shape.

The profile of these sleeves allows for 50mm butt rings to be easily accommodated and there is additional padding in this area. There is also an external pocket that allows you to store and transport your landing net.
